Cociety

Michael Otto combined the foundations and philanthropic initiatives he has founded and co-founded over the past decades under the umbrella of the Cociety network of foundations. The founding members include the Michael Otto Environmental Foundation, The Young ClassX, the KlimaWirtschaft Foundation, the World Future Council, HANZ, the Aid by Trade Foundation, the finlit foundation, the Michael Otto Foundation for Sustainability and the international foundation platform F20. The network brings together public service initiatives in environmental and climate protection, education, culture and development work. They are in close contact and cooperate with each other. The diversity of knowledge bundled from the organizations involved provides a comprehensive perspective on the challenges of our time and facilitate robust approaches to dealing with them. Together, the participating organizations have a greater chance of achieving the United Nation’s SDGs and creating a resilient society that enables future generations to live in freedom, security and prosperity.
